This has been a wonderful beginning to a new school year. The students are working hard, and learning our classroom rules and expectations. We are currently studying the following topics in class - Math (sorting and classifying), Reading (school), Social Studies (connecting themes), and Science (matter). The students had a lot of fun searching for different types of matter in our class on our "Matter Hunt". We introduced the first sight word this week (the), and are reviewing letters and sounds on a daily basis. We have so much to accomplish and learn this year, and I know your child will be able to do their best with support from home and school. Together we can help your child reach their goals as they begin their academic career. Remember, parent + teacher = student success!
